Default data training: Opt-out required; Grammarly does not let LLM providers train on user content, but uses aggregated, de-identified samples for product improvement and training unless the user opts out via account controls.
Business-tier training: No by default; Grammarly Business/Enterprise content is not used to train models and EU/UK user content is explicitly excluded from model training.
